Frequently Asked Questions
What is afterbirth coaching?
After Birth Coaching is one-on-one support for moms in the first year after birth. It’s not therapy or medical care — it’s compassionate guidance and practical tools to help you feel calmer, more confident, and more balanced in motherhood.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy often focuses on healing past experiences or treating mental health conditions. Coaching is future-focused — it helps you set goals, create routines, and build confidence in your new role as a mom. Many moms choose coaching alongside therapy or medical care for a complete support system.
Who is this coaching for?
This is for moms in the first year after birth who are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of themselves — and who want a safe, supportive space to find clarity, confidence, and balance.
How are sessions held?
Sessions are usually virtual (via Zoom or phone), so you can connect from the comfort of your home — even during nap times!
What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?
That’s exactly what the discovery call through is for. It’s free, no pressure, and simply a chance to connect and see if this feels like the right support for you.
What if my baby needs me during the session?
That’s completely okay! Coaching is designed for moms — we understand feedings, fussiness, and interruptions are part of the journey. This is judgement-free space.
Do you accept insurance?
We are private pay and do not accept insurance.
